These terms apply to the FuelFairy app and website (fuelfairy.com.au), operated by AVAMM Group Pty Ltd (ABN 39 647 157 131) (“we”, “us”). By using FuelFairy you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use FuelFairy.

1. The service

FuelFairy is a free fuel price comparison service for Australia. It shows prices from government fuel price schemes (currently NSW, Queensland, Victoria and Western Australia) and, in some areas, prices submitted by other users. It also offers price trends, a trip planner and navigation links.

2. Price accuracy

Prices come from third-party and user-submitted sources and can be out of date or wrong. Government feeds are refreshed about every hour, and stations can change prices at any time. Always check the price at the pump before filling up. We don’t guarantee the accuracy, completeness or availability of any information, including opening hours and fuel availability.

3. Using FuelFairy safely

Don’t use FuelFairy while driving. Set your route before you leave, or have a passenger use the app. Follow road rules and signs; navigation is provided by your chosen maps app.

4. Your submissions

If you submit a fuel price or availability report, you confirm it’s accurate to the best of your knowledge and give us a free, ongoing, worldwide licence to use, display and share it as part of FuelFairy. Don’t submit false, misleading or automated reports. We may remove submissions or block reports that look inaccurate or abusive.

5. Acceptable use

You must not misuse FuelFairy, including by scraping or bulk downloading data, overloading or interfering with our servers, reverse engineering the app except as permitted by law, or using FuelFairy for anything unlawful.

6. Intellectual property

The FuelFairy name, logo, app and website (excluding third-party data) belong to AVAMM Group Pty Ltd. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app for your own non-commercial purposes.

7. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that can’t be excluded. Subject to those rights, FuelFairy is provided “as is”, and to the extent permitted by law we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of it, including from relying on price information. Where our liability can’t be excluded but can be limited, it is limited to supplying the service again.

8. Changes and availability

We may change, suspend or stop FuelFairy or any feature at any time, and may update these terms. The date above shows the latest version; continuing to use FuelFairy means you accept the updated terms.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
