A price looks wrong or out of date
Prices come from government fuel price schemes and update about every hour, but stations can change prices at any time. The time under each price shows when it was last reported. In VIC, SA, ACT and NT you can submit the pump price when you’re at the station.
My state isn’t covered
FuelFairy uses official price feeds from NSW, Queensland, Victoria and Western Australia. Elsewhere, prices come from other drivers’ submissions, so coverage grows as more people contribute.
The map isn’t showing my location
Allow location access for FuelFairy in your phone’s Settings (iPhone: Settings → FuelFairy → Location → While Using the App). You can also search for any suburb or postcode.
I can’t see any prices on the map
Prices show when you’re zoomed in to a local area. If the map says “Zoom in to see fuel prices”, pinch to zoom in. Also check the selected fuel type, as not every station sells every fuel.
The app is crashing or not loading
Close FuelFairy completely and reopen it, and check you’re on the latest version from the App Store. If it keeps happening, email us.
